Be very careful, then, how you live… making the most of every opportunity. Ephesians 5:15–16
Comment
It’s easy to think that connection will happen when life slows down — when there’s more time, less pressure, better circumstances. But often, those perfect moments never quite arrive.
Connection usually grows in the time we choose to make, not the time we happen to find. A short walk, a conversation at the end of the day, a shared pause — these small, intentional moments build something lasting.
It’s not about doing more. It’s about choosing each other, even briefly, in the middle of real life.
Reflection
Where could you create a small moment of connection this week, rather than waiting for one?
Prayer suggestion (as a couple)
Ask God to help you notice and take small opportunities to connect.
Prayer suggestion (for another couple)
Pray for a couple whose lives feel full — that they would find simple ways to prioritise each other.
Final quote
Time doesn’t create connection. Intention does.
