See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone. Flowers
appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their
fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.”
Song of Solomon 2:10-13

My son is getting married this weekend so I need to look good! To counteract my age, my face needs lifting but I don’t have the time or the money! Instead I chose to have my eyebrows shaped and the result is pleasing! It took about one hour, door to door!
Surgery won’t energise a tired marriage but some attention and a little effort will bear pleasing fruit.
What can you do for your partner to lift their heart and pour in the balm of love?
Prayer (as a couple)
Lord God please inspire us in our marriage. We confess how easily we take our love for granted and forget to be attentive to each other. Please give us ideas to lift each other’s hearts so we have the breath of spring time in our lives and blowing through our home. Amen
Prayer (for others)
Lord we pray for our friends, and our wider family. Breath your life and your love into their homes Lord (name the families you want to bless), give them lovely suggestions of ways they can be creative in their love. Amen
