I love the way King David sees God in his life – the One who is absolutely essential just for survival! He remembers past miracles of deliverance and worships. Family life can go through extremely dark times; we might be facing huge opposition with the way ahead completely blocked off.
Do we really believe the Bible’s promise that the Lord will be there for us to lighten our darkness, send us through the troop of armed enemies and catapult us over the high wall? However, dire things look do we trust Him that the ultimate outcome will be good? Faith is a decision to trust God.
Together let’s thank Him for being our Source of light, Strength, Saviour and Shield in today’s troubles and for whatever tomorrow brings?

Dear Lord, You see how high the wall is that’s in front of us – even if it’s in the future and we don’t even know about it yet. We need Your help to get through times of trial. We praise You for Your power and thank You for Your love. Please guide and provide for us every day. Amen
