And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. — John 1:14
Comment
At Christmas we celebrate the miracle of God’s presence — love made visible, choosing to draw near. It’s a beautiful reminder that presence, more than perfection, is what we truly long for.
In marriage, too, presence is the greatest gift we can offer: unhurried attention, genuine listening, a warm hand, a kind gaze. These moments say I’m here, with you, and for you.
Reflection
How can you be truly present with each other this Christmas?
Prayer suggestion (as a couple)
Thank God for His presence with you, and ask for grace to offer that same presence to one another.
Prayer suggestion (for another couple)
Pray that another couple would experience the comfort of love made present in their home this Christmas.
Final quote
“Love is not what you say; love is what you notice.”
