Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. — Psalm 90:12

Comment

A new year often comes with full calendars and good intentions, yet it’s easy for what truly matters to get crowded out by the urgent rather than the important. Revisiting our priorities isn’t about doing more — it’s about noticing what deserves our time, energy, and attention.

In relationships, priorities speak love. How we invest our hours reveals what we value. When we pause to realign — even in small ways — we create space for connection to deepen and for life to feel more intentional, not accidental.

Reflection

What one or two priorities would you love to give more space to this year — in your relationship or home?

Prayer suggestion (as a couple)

Ask God for wisdom to recognise what matters and courage to make room for it.

Prayer suggestion (for another couple)

Pray for a couple who may be overwhelmed by life’s demands — that they would find clarity and peace as they set their priorities.

Final quote

“Your days are your life in miniature. Honour them well.”
