(Addressing her shepherd…) “ Tell me – O you who my soul loves, where you pasture your flock, where you make it lie down at noon…..” Song of Songs 1:7
Comment
I remember lunch times at college when I would always have half an eye looking out for the guy who is now my husband. The excitement if I caught sight of him!!
I remember when we were engaged how we would usually find a corner in the library or park to share lunch.
Now we are used to each other, but capturing some romantic time at unusual times and in unusual places might be good for us? It all adds to the spice of life.
When did you do last plan something surprising for “he/she who your soul loves?”
Prayer (as a couple)
Father God Thank you for all the exciting times in our relationship. Thank you that we can still surprise each other. In the busyness of our family and work lives, help us to capture moments for each other that will become treasured memories for the future. Inspire us with ideas Lord Amen
Prayer (for others)
Thank you for people whose weddings we have attended in the last ten years. Now that they are married, help them not to settle down and forget romance and the excitement of life together. Please inspire _____ and _____ to be creative about their time together so they will haveeven more shared memories to enjoy. Amen
