It’s easy to wait for the big milestones — holidays, anniversaries, breakthroughs — to celebrate joy together. But marriage is mostly lived in the ordinary: cups of tea, daily routines, shared glances, the small kindnesses that often go unnoticed.
We’ve discovered that joy doesn’t just arrive — it’s cultivated. When we pause to notice and give thanks for the ordinary, we often find ourselves smiling at how extraordinary the everyday really is.
