“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV
Comment
Our youngest child recently left home. We?ve become empty nesters!
On the plus side the house is so much tidier and the fridge stays fuller for longer. It?s also much quieter.
We do miss them, especially at meal times which were great for catching up with news as a family and there was usually a lot of laughter. We?re still adjusting to this new season in life and one of the good things is that we?re having conversations about our hopes and dreams for the future. This is so much fun!
What season of life are you in right now? What are you enjoying? What, if anything, are you struggling with? Why not talk about these things and hand them to God in prayer.
Prayer (as a couple)
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the season of life that we are in. We give thanks for… We also ask for your help in our struggles right now and bring to you specifically… Please give us faith, strength and hope. We also pray that you would draw closer to one another and strengthen our marriage through the power of your Holy Spirit. Amen
