Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.Galatians 6:2
Comment
As life becomes fuller, pressure can build — deadlines, responsibilities, tiredness, expectations. In these moments, it’s easy to become short with each other or to retreat into our own worlds.
Yet pressure can also be an invitation — not to withdraw, but to stay close. To recognise that you’re on the same team, even when things feel stretched.
Staying close under pressure doesn’t mean everything is calm. It simply means choosing to face it together.
Reflection
When life feels pressured, what helps you stay connected rather than pulling apart?
Prayer suggestion (as a couple)
Ask God to help you support each other and stay connected during demanding times.
Prayer suggestion (for another couple)
Pray for a couple under strain — that they would experience strength and unity.
Final quote
Pressure doesn’t have to pull us apart — it can draw us closer.”
