With Remembrance Sunday falling this weekend it’s a good time to think back and remind ourselves and give thanks for what people have done in the past to protect our freedom. Lives have been put on the line, sacrifices made so that we can … do what? How do you want to be remembered? For some of us this might be a difficult question . It’s never too late to change and to seize the future, and with God all things are possible.

Dear Lord, thank you for the sacrifices that so many have made so that we can have freedom. Your desire is for us to do good and to share what we have with others, and it is good for us to do this. Help us not only to know your purpose but to obediently do it so that we can please you, show your love to others and be remembered for good things. Amen.
