Even under all the intimidation from Nebuchadnezar and his cronies the three guys Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego stood firm – WE WILL NOT!!! They then left the consequences to God. Daniel 3:18

Now this is a pretty extreme example but there is a strong principle here – Each time we choose the right thing, choosing to embrace rather than escape the path that God has called us to walk, we enter a new level of freedom. In the above case the three guys were ultimately set free from Nebuchanezzar’s control over their lives.
Choose right and you are set free from those who would try to use and manipulate you, set free to serve your all powerful King – in that moment you not only gain insight into who you are but whose you are.
Are you a couple facing difficult temptations – may God show you the ‘right’ way to go.

Father help us daily to choose the ‘right’ path , protect us from sometimes being tempted to take the easy option and choose what we know in our hearts to be the wrong way.

Father, we pray for _____ and _____ who appear to be ‘drifting’ away from walking with you, please meet with them and help them back onto your Way.
Final quote
In chapter 24 of Joshua, he asks the people of Israel to choose who they would serve – they cried with a loud voice that they would choose to follow God, let that be our cry!!
