Weather is a big deal for gardeners – spring can be too cold – then you get a short growing season. Or spring is mild but then a late frost ruins the blossom. Or it’s too wet or too dry. Our lives have “weather”- external factors that can affect our marriages.
BUT God promises to come and shower righteousness upon us when we seek Him.
Showers are what young plants need in the spring.
Can we ask God to shower us with His righteousness in our lives – not just the good things of life but true goodness to make our lives and families whole!
Prayer (as a couple)
Father God, you see everything about our lives. Sometimes the “weather” is cruel to our garden. You have promised that when we seek your face, you will shower us with your righteousness. Please God fulfil this promise of your goodness in our lives and our family. We can’t manage without you. Amen
